i am probably one of the very few politically blasé and revolutionarily damp people in the department. might have something to do with the ultimate pointlessness of most things, including politics and revolution, because all that matters are connections, lip-service, reverence, caste+class plushy-ness, obescience and the like. i dunno if this is pessimism. i call it detachment. kinda like the film.
